Get ready to turn that frown Upside Down, “Stranger Things” fans, because production on Season 3 of the Duffer Brothers’ Netflix series is underway.
On Friday, the streaming service released the most teasery of behind-the-scenes teasers when announcing that the cast had officially begun work on “Stranger Things 3” on April 20. Though you don’t get a look at Hawkins — or what stranger-er things are to come in the next installment — we do see old and new members of the cast gather together for a table read.
While usual suspects like Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will), David Harbour (Chief Hopper) and Winona Ryder (Joyce) are all in attendance, so are the recently announced additions to the cast for Season 3.

New residents include Maya Hawke, Cary Elwes and Jake Busey. Elwes is coming in as Mayor Kline, the sleazy head of the small Indiana town, with Busey playing a journalist at “The Hawkins Post.” Hawke will be joining the crew as Robin, “an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful,” who uncovers some of Hawkins’ dark secrets.
No release date has been set for the third season yet, so hopefully this new glimpse is enough to keep you from going a little nutty with the Christmas lights for now.
