Roger Stone Slaps Back at Joe Scarborough: ‘Becoming Some Kind of Left-Wing Conspiracy Theorist’

Roger Stone fired back at Joe Scarborough on Friday after the MSNBC host raised questions about Stone’s knowledge ahead of Leeann Tweeden’s sexual misconduct accusations against Sen. Al Franken.
“Joe Scarborough is becoming some kind of left-wing conspiracy theorist. Contrary to his claims that I ‘coached’ Ms. Tweeden for weeks I have never met, spoken to or communicated with her in anyway,” Stone told TheWrap. “I merely learned of her allegations hours before they went public, confirmed them with a second source and reported them — accurately — for InfoWars.”
“At least six other women have come forward, all liberal Democrats claiming Frank[en],” he added. “Perhaps Scarborough thinks I orchestrated all of that too. Scarborough’s charges are irresponsible, unsubstantiated and kinda nutty.”

The “Morning Joe” host is no stranger to Stone bashing and hit the Trump consigliere again on Friday.
“Do you know who the first person was who announced that Al Franken was about to get attacked? Roger Stone,” said Scarborough who said Stone’s involvement was a little too suspicious for him.
“Why hasn’t anybody checked up and seen exactly how Roger Stone knew any this from a conservative talk radio host nine hours before it happened? Is no one curious out there that’s doing all of these stories?”  he asked.

Both Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski have said they were uncomfortable with the Franken resignation, noting its obvious political overtones and accused Democrats of abandoning Franken’s right to due process.
