Ratings: ‘World of Dance,’ ‘America’s Got Talent’ Dip in Week 2 But Still Hand NBC Easy Tuesday Win
NBC’s got talent for topping Tuesday’s primetime Nielsen numbers. The Peacock network won the night in both the key adults ages 18-49 category and total viewers last night, even though both “World of Dance” and “America’s Got Talent” saw dips in both measures from their respective season premieres last week.
Of course, it should be noted this easy win was handed to NBC on a night filled with mostly repeat competition on the other Big 4 networks.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.0 rating/9 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8, “America’s Got Talent” scored a 2.2/10 and 11.1 million viewers. At 10, “World of Dance” earned a 1.6/7 and 6.5 million viewers.
