Ratings: ‘The Voice’ Carries NBC to 1st Place, ‘DWTS’-Led ABC Settles for Second

NBC won Monday thanks to “The Voice,” which means ABC settled for second place despite “Dancing With the Stars” being the most-watched show in primetime.

CBS and Fox lined up third and fourth, respectively.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.6 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 8 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.0/8 and 9.8 million viewers. “Taken” at 10 had a 0.8/3 and 4.4 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and in viewers with 7.7 million. At 8, “DWTS” scored a 1.5/6 and 10.1 million viewers. At 10, “Quantico” got a 0.6/2 and 2.9 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and in viewers with 5.6 million. “Kevin Can Wait” at 8 received a 1.1/5 and 6.1 million viewers. At 8:30, “Man With a Plan” had a 1.0/4 and 5.4 million viewers. “Superior Donuts” at 9 got a 1.0/3 and 5.1 million viewers. At 9:30, “2 Broke Girls” garnered a 1.0/4 and 4.7 million viewers. “Scorpion” at 10 landed a 1.0/4 and 6.3 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 3 million. At 8, “24: Legacy” had 0.8/3 and 3.2 million viewers. “APB” at 9 got a 0.6/2 and 2.8 million viewers.

Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.7 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.4 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 884,000, airing reruns.
