CBS won Thursday primetime with “Big Brother” — but that’s about all TheWrap can tell you with certainty right now, in terms of Nielsen ratings, as last night’s numbers are more subject to change than usual.
Every broadcast network had at least one pre-emption for NFL preseason games in multiple markets throughout the evening, inflating the early data across the board.

Until then, here’s how things stacked up — again, for the moment:
CBS was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/1 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 6.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. In between repeats at 9 p.m., “Big Brother” scored a 2.0/9 and 7.4 million viewers.
NBC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.1/5.

NBC was second in viewers with 5 million.
Fox was fourth in viewers with 4 million, airing only encores.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/4 and third in viewers with 4.1 million. At 8, “The Gong Show” received a 0.8/4 and 4.2 million viewers. At 9, “Match Game,” put up a 1.0/5 and 4.5 million viewers. At 10, “Take Two” had a 0.8/4 and 3.7 million viewers.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/3 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
Univision and The CW tied for sixth in ratings with a 0.3/2 and 0.3/1, respectively.
Univision was sixth in viewers with 1.2 million.
The CW was seventh in viewers with 1.1 million, filling its primetime block with reruns.
