Hollywood Reacts to Glenne Headly’s Death: ‘My Favorite Dirty Rotten Scoundrel’

Hollywood took to Twitter to express their grief at the passing of “Dirty Rotten Scoundrel” actress Glenne Headly.
Headly passed away Thursday night at the age of 63. The announcement was made Friday morning, much to the dismay of fans and those who knew her. No cause of death has been announced. The location where Headly died has not been shared.
“Terrible news about Glenne Headly,” wrote actor and comedian Michael McKean. “A fine actress and a good person.”
Others remembered her through her work in the movies, TV and on the stage. While most knew her through her late 1980s, early 1990s film roles, she got her start in the theater and continued to work there throughout her life. RiffTrax and “Mystery Science Theater 3000” actor Bill Corbett tweeted about seeing her perform.

RIP Glenne Headly. Got to see her onstage three times, she was immensely talented and funny.

Many just simply expressed their remorse at her passing. Most noted her performance beside Steve Martin and Michael Caine in the comedy classic “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” where she managed to steal scenes from the two legends.
