Hillary Clinton Compares Weinstein to Trump: ‘Behavior Cannot Be Tolerated Anywhere’ (Video)
Hillary Clinton further condemned Democratic political donor Harvey Weinstein, and pointed out similarities between the Hollywood mogul and Donald Trump.
“It was just disgusting and the stories that have come out are heartbreaking,” she said on the UK’s “The Andrew Marr Show” on Sunday. “And I really commend the women who have been willing to step forward now and tell their stories.”
Clinton pointed out that sexual misconduct happens in all industries, not just in Hollywood, and reminded viewers of the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape that resurfaced during the 2016 presidential campaign in which Trump brags to Billy Bush that being famous means he can kiss women and “grab em by the p****,” even without their consent.

“I think it’s important that we not just focus on [Weinstein] and whatever consequences flow from these stories about his behavior, but that we recognize that this kind of behavior cannot be tolerated anywhere, whether it’s in entertainment, politics,” Clinton said.
“After all, we have someone admitting to being a sexual assaulter in the Oval Office,” she continued. “There has to be a recognition that we must stand against this kind of action that is so sexist and misogynistic.”
