‘Game of Thrones’ TV Viewership Hits New Season High Despite Episode Leak, HBO Hack

“Game of Thrones” hauled in 10.167 million total viewers on Sunday, despite Episode 64 being leaked to the web a few days before its HBO premiere.
That impressive total is up 10 percent from last week, when the third episode of Season 7 drew 9.258 million total viewers. It also marks a new season high — at least in terms of “live” linear viewers measured by Nielsen.
Scroll past the “Also Read” to see how Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” had gone prior to Sunday. All numbers are from Nielsen’s Live + Same Day metric, which means they don’t count streaming viewers or DVR catch-up.
