Drake Accuses Coachella Country Club of ‘Racial Profiling’ – Fans Respond

Drake took to the internet over the weekend to accuse a California country club and residential community of racial profiling.

According to Page Six, Drake created a post on his Instagram page, calling out The Madison Club. The post has since been deleted.

“The most offensive place I have ever stayed at in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling #Coachella,” he wrote.

Drake fans were quick to spread the rapper’s message after it vanished from Instagram. The Google reviews for the club are now filled with one-star ratings, posted within the last week, that claim the place is racist.

“This place is beautiful on the outside but butt ugly on the inside, never judge a book by its cover. Now some people in 2017 may love the favoritism and outright discriminating behavior but sane people will find it detestable and outright abnormal,” wrote one user.

“This hotel sucks. Dont disrespect drake ever again,” wrote another.

The Madison Club bills itself as the “most exclusive private residential community in La Quinta, California” on its website. It’s located in the Coachella Valley, where the annual music festival of the same name was held this past weekend. Drake performed on its second day.

So far the Madison Club hasn’t responded to the allegations. TheWrap has reached out to the club for comment.
