“Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to one year and one day in prison for bankruptcy fraud.
According to the Associated Press, a federal judge in Pittsburgh sentenced the former reality TV star after Miller pleaded guilty to federal bankruptcy fraud and money laundering. Her sentencing was drawn out while figuring out how much financial harm was done, if any.
According to the publication, Miller brought $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the country without reporting it. Prosecutors also said she tried to cheat her creditors by hiding $775,000 worth of income.
