In a statement released Sunday, CBS News announced that “60 Minutes” executive producer Jeff Fager will extend his vacation as an investigation into former broadcaster Charlie Rose’s sexual misconduct at the network is expected to conclude soon.
Fager, who had been scheduled to return to work on Monday, has been the target of fresh accusations in Ronan Farrow’s latest expose in The New Yorker on the sexual misconduct and harassment allegedly committed and permitted by CBS CEO Les Moonves. In the piece, Fager is accused of enabling a sexist workplace environment at “60 Minutes,” particularly when it came to the behavior two fellow high-ranking producers.
Fager has denied all wrongdoing.
